John Cleese was in America when Hull City defeated Bristol City in last season’s Championship playoff final. I say that not because it means anything, but because I find it interesting.
The more important thing that the Bristol City fan said recently was this:
I think we’ll do it this year — they look very good.
He also recalled being in New York for the final.
I found a sports bar in New York and was there at 9am to watch it. I found myself cheering them on with a sweet guy who introduced me to the New York Bristol City Fan Club, which consisted of three other people.
