Between Major League Soccer and the Premier League, it’s tough to keep up with other leagues, but I have always had an affinity for the Championship, so I do hope to keep some tabs on the league this summer. Bristol City will be entering its second season in the Championship without Nick Carle, who signed a deal to move to Crystal Palace.
The 26-year-old left-footed midfielder moved for a fee of around £1 million and talked about his new club.
I’m very excited to be here. I know a fair bit about Palace having played against them four times last season. It’s a massive club. I’ve got ambitions and after speaking to Neil Warnock my decision was easy – he sounds like a real winner.
So how about it Bristol City fans – sad to see him go? And are you glad to have him Palace fans?
